Local Culture: be a part of the local culture as you learn how the locals live and tour their village.
Game viewing: game viewing takes place along the chobe river from the tender boats and the chances are you'll see wildlife such as Elephants, Buffalo, Lion, Wild Dog, Hyena and Leopard.
Birding: bird watching also takes place from the tender boats. This is said to be the best place in South Africa for bird watching as it is so diverse. There are around 450 species of birds. You will are bound to see birds such as African Fish Eagle, Mallachite Kingfisher, African Jacana and African Skimmer.
Walks: walks around the flood plains are easy as the land is relatively flat. From here you will be able to see the various habitats as well as the diverse ecological makeup.
Fishing: It is said that the upper Zambezi is one of the best places in the world to fish. The main types of fish consist of Tigerfish, Bream and Catfish. These fish can grow up to 10kg in this particular area of the river.
